Well, it’s Tuesday morning and despite the cold weather it’s actually a beautiful day.  I got to vent a little bit after the meeting last night with my sponsor because the events leading up to the start of the meeting were a bit frustrating.  I got there early again as I was under the impression that I was going to chair the meeting.  Vic showed up an hour early as usual and proceeded to start doing the coffee and setting up the meeting.  It pisses me off because we are supposed to be of service to the group and to do that we need to help setup the meeting and make coffee and what not.  Especially if we are chairing the meeting.  Vic seems to take it upon himself to try to do everything.  Last night he was criticizing how I was setting things up, meanwhile what I was doing made perfect sense.  (maybe that’s subjective).  I had a table setup to put out the food and plates and what not.  He didn’t seem to like that.  He started to put the chairs out and set them up in a circle as if we were having a regular meeting.  We were doing a birthday/open meeting with a speaker.  So I told him we need to change this and he really lost his patience with me.  He played it off as if Pat, one of the old timers, was going to be pissed off about the layout.  There is something not right in the brain compartment of that guy.  Other than that incident the meeting went great, we had a nice turnout and Taylor came and brought the most delicious brownies I’ve ever tasted.

I’ve been looking at doing my 4th step lately.  I have a total mental block when it comes to this.  I feel like I need an app on my phone or some sort of dummies guide to get me started.
